Affected by the 11th typhoon "Capricorn" this year, the Zuojiang River basin has a large range of rainfall. The main inflow of Zuojiang River is mainly composed of Pinghe River, Shuikou River, Mingjiang River and Heishui River and other tributaries. At present, a total of 14 rivers and 19 stations in Chongzuo City have floods exceeding 0.07-5.04 meters. At 9 o 'clock on September 10, there were still 8 rivers and 11 stations exceeding the alarm by 0.02-4.67 meters.

On September 8, the Hydrological center of the Autonomous region predicted that in the next 24-48 hours, the Zuojiang River would be over the alarm line, and the main stream of the Zuojiang River would continue to rise 7-10 meters, of which the Chongzuo urban section of the Zuojiang River (warning water level of 101.2 meters) to the Wusui County section of the alarm water level (warning water level of 81.8 meters) would appear over the alarm flood of 2-3 meters. Around 14:00 on September 10, the water level of the Zuojiang Fusui Hydrological Station continued to rise about 1.4 meters, and the flood peak water level of 85.5 meters will appear around 8:00 on September 11, exceeding the alarm 3.7 meters.

The task assigned to our volunteer flood rescue team is responsible for strengthening, first of all, fill the bag with sand and stone, reach a certain weight, bind the bag, pile the sandbags on the embankment, and cast a flood defense line.
